How do I delete my phone from BMW Bluetooth?

I borrowed my parents’ car over the last few weeks and paired my phone via Bluetooth. Now I’m giving the car back but I want to unpair it. How do I delete my phone from BMW Bluetooth?

To delete your phone from BMW Bluetooth, go into the nav menu and delete device.
In the BMW’s navigation menu:
  • Find the Option tab
  • Choose the Mobile devices tab
  • Locate your phone
  • Tap its name and several options will appear
  • Choose “delete device” or “remove phone from list”
This will remove your phone from the car’s Bluetooth database.
To confirm it was successful, go to the Telephone tab in the main home menu. Your phone should not appear on this list.
The specific procedure depends on your model. If you get stuck, try checking your owner’s manual for instructions or call your local BMW dealer.
You didn’t mention if you had your own car or if you’re on your parents’ policy, but now might be a good time to look into a
car insurance
policy just for you. You could get a
non-owner’s policy
or just look for a cheaper policy using the free

app.
