Joey Logano’s first choice for day-to-day driving is his 2018 Ford F-150 Raptor. This powerful pickup truck boasts a perfect 10/10 rating from Car and Driver
, and the publication also designated this model an Editor’s Choice pick and one of the ‘10 Best’ vehicles of 2018. In addition to its advanced off-road equipment, the F-150 Raptor also features a standard 450-horsepower twin-turbocharged V6 engine and a paddle-shifted 10-speed automatic transmission. The direct-injection EcoBoost engine helps get this pickup from 0 to 60 mph in as little as 5.1 seconds—no match for Logano’s speedsters on the track, but still quick enough for daily use.
With an 8,000-lb. max towing capacity and an additional 1,200 lbs of in-bed towing, the F-150 Raptor is a great choice for adventurous drivers like Logano.
More cars in Logano’s garage
While you’ll find Joey Logano behind the wheel of his Ford F-150 Raptor most days when he’s not racing for Team Penske, the racer owns upwards of 30 vehicles. Let’s take a look at some of Logano’s most iconic and memorable cars from the past to the present:
2017 Ford GT
This special edition sports car was customized specifically for Logano in 2017. The matte black Ford GT is a Heritage Edition model bearing a ‘22’ badge in reference to Logano’s No. 22 race car. It also carries a twin-turbo 647-hp engine and is capable of reaching a top speed of 216 mph.
In a 2018 MotorTrend interview
, Logano raved about the custom model: “There are no limitations really on it, I mean with our race cars, there are so many rules and stuff that the car can only do so much, but the Ford GT feels like it’s pretty much wide open,” Logano added. 1924 Ford Model T
Perhaps the oldest vehicle in Logano’s collection is his vintage 1924 Ford Model T. Nearly 100 years old, Logano reports that he only drives the model for 10 or so miles at a time. While it certainly doesn’t offer as much in terms of performance as some of his other vehicles, the racer loves to drive it.
In a more recent interview with Autoweek
, Logano said that the model is part of the reason he loves Ford
vehicles: "It’s what made Ford Ford, it’s what put 'em on the map.” 1961 Ford Econoline
Another eccentric addition to Logano’s garage is his revamped 1961 Ford Econoline truck. Outfitted with a custom camper in the bed, you’ll find this all-in-one camper-truck complete with green shag carpets, giving it what Logano calls a “1970s hippie wagon” vibe.
Despite its unique appearance and retaining its original stock straight-six engine and three-on-the-tree shifter, Logano admits that the truck isn’t his favorite.

While we can’t confirm that Logano has a Honda Civic
in his personal collection today, the racer has confirmed that the model was the first-ever full-size car he learned to drive. Unlike most of us, Logano started driving as a child, and by the age of seven, he had already won the 1997 Eastern Grand National Championship in the Junior Stock Car Quarter Midget division. By the time the future racecar driver was eight years old, his father had given him the keys to a 1982 Honda Civic, which Logano learned to drive on the property of his father’s waste management company.
These are only a handful of the vehicles that Logano owns. A full sweep of his extensive garage would unveil a 1937 GMC
, a 1935 Ford Pickup, a 1971 Mustang Mach 1
, a Fox Body Mustang
, a 1946 Ford Super Deluxe sedan, a Hudson Pickup, a 1953 Ford Cabover Ramp Truck, and even an amphibious WaterCar! How to save money on car insurance
