background
The 2022 Telluride Nightfall Edition is at the top of the SUV line. It offers premium features and has several options for maximum comfort. The
Kia
Telluride is a great SUV line in general for people who are looking for a mix of comfort and practicality.
While not the most affordable SUV, what makes the Nightfall Edition preferable to all other trim levels? Does it offer value for money? Let's explore the answers to these questions in our review below.

What is included in the Kia Telluride Nightfall Edition?

As stated by
Motor Biscuit
, the Kia Telluride Nightfall Edition comes in two trims, EX and SX. Among the two, the SX trim is the highest. The base trim comes with 20-inch alloy wheels with an exclusive black finish, black, large front grille, and a black rear and front skid plate.
Other features of the base model include black exterior badging, LED projector-beam headlights, window surround, low-profile roof rails, and lower door molding.
On the other hand,
Kia Delray
explains that the SX trim comes with fog lights and its LED lights have black bezels. It also comes with reverse tilt-down outside mirrors, dual sunroofs, and a high beam assist feature for the fog lights.
If you love the luxury of a subtle black finish, then the Prestige edition of the SX Nightfall Edition is the trim to pick. The carmaker has ensured that the exterior has strikingly polished minute details from the roof to handles and wheels.

The comfort and performance of the Kia Telluride Nightfall Edition

The cabin looks as good as the exterior. It features a heated steering wheel, leather seats, a heads-up display, and with both the two rows of back seats and the front seats having heating and ventilation. The vehicle also has a 110V outlet.
In addition, the SX Prestige comes with a whopping ten-speaker system, along with a power liftgate that is hands-free. The entire line, except for the Ex, also comes with a 10.25-inch touchscreen that has both entertainment and navigation.
According to
Car and Driver
, this SUV is powered by a naturally-aspirated V6 engine that provides 291 horsepower along with 262 lb-ft of torque.
The engine is mated with an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the front wheels. There is an optional all-wheel-drive drivetrain if that’s what you prefer.
The three-row SUV has a fuel economy of 20 mpg city and 26 mpg highway. However, users that go with all-wheel-drive models have 19 mpg city and 24 mpg.
