Luckily, the engineers responsible for these little wonders thought of that too, so every smart key fob, including the one you have for your 2021 Ram, has a metal key inside that can lock and unlock your car manually in case you’ve got a dead fob battery.
To access your 2021 Ram’s emergency metal key, just press and hold the small silver rectangular button on the bottom right side of the fob. While holding down the button, grasp the silver accessory loop at the bottom of the fob and pull to slide out the hidden key.
When you head to the driver’s side door, you’ll only see one keyhole—slide the key in, and turn it to unlock your Ram. Now that you’ve gotten your truck open, slide the key back into the fob and hop in!
