How many times can you go to driving school?

You’re allowed to go to traffic school to get charges dismissed in Alabama, but how many times can you go to driving school? I did it once before to keep a speeding ticket off of my record but I got another speeding ticket recently so I’d like to do it again if I can.

Driving school is a great option to prevent charges from stacking on your record! In the state of
Alabama
, you can be referred to driving school by a judge once every 12 months as long as you don’t have a commercial driver’s license.
You can take traffic school online or in-person, but you’ll typically pay about $28 for the class either way. You’ll cover topics including:
  • Alabama roadway laws
  • How to avoid accidents
  • How to drive safely and share the road
If you’re not able to get the charges dismissed, you’ll probably see an increase in your insurance rates. Luckily, the
Jerry
app is a quick and easy way to find the best rates available—tailored just for you! Just download the app and answer some quick questions to see competitive quotes from over 50 top providers.
Enjoy driving school—hope it helps to keep your driving record clean!
