A little embarrassing, but I TOTALLY forgot who my insurance provider is. I set up monthly billing and now am not even sure who to contact. Help! How do I know who my home insurance is with?

There are a few different ways you can figure out who your home insurance provider is:
Check your bank statement: If you’re making monthly payments, you should be able to see who those payments are going to.
Check your mail or email: You may be getting bills or other communications from your insurance provider.
Check your phone records and online search history: You likely spoke with an agent or used the insurer’s website to start your policy. Most insurers now send documents electronically as well.
Look for a physical copy of your home insurance policy: If you think you may have a physical copy of your policy, see if it is anywhere around the house.
Check with your mortgage lender: If you have a mortgage on your home, your lender likely requires you to have a certain amount of home insurance, in which case they should have your insurer’s information on file.
Pro tip: Once you discover who your homeowners insurance provider is, you might want to consider reviewing your policy’s coverage and potentially replacing them. If you don’t even know who you’re covered by, it’s not much of a stretch to guess you didn’t go comparison shopping and are paying more than you need to.
