Can you tell me how to open a gas tank on a Hyundai Elantra?
I just got a great deal on a used Hyundai Elantra that has low miles and is in great shape. The only problem is that it didn’t come with an owner’s manual. My immediate issue is that I’m at the gas station, and I’m trying to figure out how to open the door to the gas tank. How do you open a gas tank on a Hyundai Elantra?

No problem—when opening a gas tank on a Hyundai Elantra, you’ll first want to pull on the gas tank door release lever, located on the driver’s side floor, to the far left.
There’s a gas pump icon on the lever—just make sure you don’t accidentally also pull up on the trunk release lever! Pulling up on the correct lever will pop open the door to the gas tank.
Once you get your used car home, you may find that it didn’t come with an owner’s manual, and you need to troubleshoot simple things like how to open the door to the gas tank.
