The multimedia display in my Mercedes keeps telling me that an update is available, but I don’t know what to do—how do I perform a Mercedes infotainment system update?

If your Mercedes infotainment system or software update is available, you can install it via your vehicle’s multimedia display. To complete the update, follow the instructions below:
- Press the “Settings” button on your Mercedes’ multimedia display screen.
- Find the “Systems” tab and press it.
- Scroll until you find the “Software update” tab and press it.
- Select the update you wish to install and press “Download.”
- Confirm the download if necessary and wait until the download finishes. Once the download is complete, it will begin the installation process.
As long as you follow these instructions, you should have no trouble performing a Mercedes infotainment system software update.
