How much does it cost to fix a car undercarriage?
I drove over a giant board sitting in the middle of my lane when I got onto the interstate, and I saw it too late and couldn’t slow down. The undercarriage of your car consists of a number of different components, many of them crucial to the safe and smooth operation of your vehicle.
To name a few:
- The exhaust system
- The gas tank
- The brake lines
- The axles
- The transmission system
Your car’s undercarriage can be a pretty costly ordeal, potentially running as much as $2,000 to $3,000 if the damage is extensive.
