How do you defog car windows in the rain without A/C?
Is there any way to defog my car windows when it rains if I don’t have A/C? All the tips I’ve seen have to do with air conditioning, but it’s too cold to turn on the air conditioning!

It’s easy to defog your windows with the A/C, but sometimes it just isn’t worth the cold! Here are a few tricks for defogging your car windows without the A/C:
- Roll down the window slightly. While this may not be practical in the pouring rain, it may be practical in a light sprinkle.
- Turn your defroster to a low setting. Alright, this one’s kind of like the air conditioner—but it’s not pointed at you, and it won’t be as cold!
- Turn off the recirculate setting to let fresh air into your car and defog your windows.
If none of these tips work for you, you could also take preventative measures.
