How do I remove a CarMax sticker?

I just bought a used Toyota from CarMax. I’m stoked, but there’s a big CarMax sticker on the rear of my car that I’d rather not keep. How do I safely remove a CarMax sticker?

To remove a CarMax sticker (or any sticker), all you need are three household products:
  • Water
  • Paper towels
  • White vinegar
Using these products, follow these steps to remove the sticker:
  1. Soak a paper towel in white vinegar, then lay it over the sticker. Let it sit and soak for five minutes.
  2. Remove the paper towel and try to peel off the sticker. Start at one of the corners and slowly pull it away.
  3. If it’s still stuck, place the vinegar-soaked paper towel over the sticker for five more minutes.
  4. Once the sticker is gone, rub the area with a fresh vinegar-soaked paper towel to remove any remaining adhesive.
  5. Then, rub the area down with water to remove the vinegar.
If you followed these steps, your car should be sticker-free and clean!
