How to pay your Subaru car bill

If you need to make Subaru payments, there are several options to choose from: online, by phone, by mail, or even in person through your financial institution.

Online

You can set up automatic monthly payments or make a one-time payment by logging into your financial institution’s website and clicking “make a bill payment.”

  1. Select Subaru Financial Services as the payee.
  2. Enter your 10-digit Subaru Financial Services account number and complete the desired payment amount.
  3. Confirm the payment.

Subaru Financial Services will receive the payment within two to three business days.

If you’re making an online payment through Subaru Financial Services, follow these steps:

  1. Go to “Sign In” on Subaru Motors Finance.
  2. Use chase.com credentials to log in to your account.
  3. Click on “Make a payment.”
  4. Go to “Pay and transfer.”
  5. Choose “Pay bills” to make your online auto payment.

By phone

Another simple way to make a Subaru payment is to call Subaru’s automated service phone number at 1-800-336-6675. Once you arrive at the main menu, press option one, then option four for All Other Inquiries, then option five for Automated Bill Pay. Make sure you have your loan account number or Social Security Number ready to enter.

Follow the instructions to complete your payment.

By mail

If you have a checkbook, you can also mail your payments directly to Subaru—they accept personal checks or money orders paid to Subaru Financial Services.
Make sure to include your name, address, and your Subaru Financial Services account number on the check’s memo line.

How much are Subaru payments?

If you’re considering buying a Subaru, it’s good to know how much you can expect to pay monthly. Starting MSRPs for 2023 Subaru vehicles range from $19,745 for the Subaru Impreza to $51,995 for the all-new Subaru Solterra.

If you’re curious about your payment costs, refer to the table below for pricing information and average loan payments for Subaru’s 2023 lineup. The averages shown below are based on the base trim for that model with a 10% down payment, a 72-month loan term, and an estimated interest rate of 4.9% (the average for new car buyers with credit scores between 661 and 780). Depending on your profile, your payments might look slightly different.

ModelMSRP rangeAverage monthly payment
2023 Subaru Crosstrek$23,645 – $26,845$361
2023 Subaru Forester$26,395 – $36,495$403
2023 Subaru Outback$28,395 – $42,295$433
2023 Subaru Ascent$33,895 – $48,195$354
2023 Subaru Solterra$44,995 – $51,995$686
2023 Subaru Impreza$19,795 – $27,395$302
2023 Subaru Legacy$24,395 – $37,695$372
2023 Subaru BRZ$28,595 – $31,095$436
2023 Subaru WRX$29,605 – $42,395$452

The exact amount of your car payment will vary based on several factors, such as your vehicle’s selling price, your down payment, your credit score, your loan term, and the interest rate.

For example, a 72-month car loan term will have lower payments than an 84-month loan, and used vehicles generally have higher APRs than loans for a new car. These are all factors to consider when budgeting to purchase a new vehicle.
