How much does Toyota Camry SE car insurance cost?

The average annual premium for minimum coverage Camry insurance is $106 per month. If you’d rather spring for a full coverage car insurance policy, raise your estimates to $209 per month. These figures put the SE trim 16% more above the cost of car insurance for other Camry models.
However, these numbers are only vague estimates. Depending on your age, location, credit score, and driving history, you could end up paying more or less than the national average rate.

It's important to remember that the cost of car insurance can vary significantly among drivers. One of the biggest individual factors is driver age. For example, a young driver will likely pay much higher insurance premiums than an experienced older driver, even if they have the same car, a good credit score, and clean driving record.
If you're looking for an accurate estimate of your potential expenses, it's best to seek out
personalized auto insurance quotes
rather than relying on

The best car insurance companies for Toyota Camry SE owners

There’s no one-size-fits-all auto insurance company for Toyota Camry SE owners. Not all car insurance providers deliver perfect customer service or claims handling, so it's important to consider your priorities before choosing one.
There also isn’t a single cheapest car insurance provider for every Camry driver. That’s because your driver profile is one of the biggest variables in auto insurance rates. It’s your age, address, driving history, deductibles, safety ratings, and more that sets your premiums, not your vehicle.
To find out what Americans thought of the top insurance providers across the country, Jerry conducted a national shopping survey. We collected thousands of scores in four major categories: policy costs, customer service, claims handling, and overall experience.

How'd we get these scores?

Jerry's experts conducted one of the largest car insurance surveys in the United States. We surveyed 15,000 policyholders, in all 50 states, over the span of 18 months. These policyholders hold insurance policies with 87 different insurance companies. We surveyed policyholders to gauge their satisfaction with their insurance carriers in: policy cost, customer service, buying and renewal experience, as well as claim experience. These scores were all reported by real customers of the insurance companies.

How much car insurance do you need for a Toyota Camry SE?

The bare
minimum coverage car insurance
is generally limited to liability coverage. It fulfills your state’s car insurance laws and includes
bodily injury liability
, as well as
property damage liability
However, it’s important to remember that the state minimum insurance will only cover injuries and damages you cause to others in an accident—it will not cover your own medical expenses or vehicle repairs.
As a result, most drivers with a Toyota Camry SE will benefit from a
full coverage policy
with
comprehensive
and
collision coverage
, and higher liability limits. While its average cost is higher per month, it will provide more protection for your vehicle and your finances.

Toyota Camry SE insurance cost by model year

Car manufacturers call the year a car was made its “model year.” The model year matters because you generally have to pay more to insure cars that were manufactured recently.
New cars have more sophisticated safety features and a higher cash value than their predecessors. As a rule of thumb, they cost more to insure than a used vehicle. Take a look at the tables below to see how your model year can change your car insurance rates.

When determining insurance premiums, insurance providers take many factors into consideration. MSRP, trim level, model year, theft rates, and the cost of repairs are some of the many factors that can influence how much your insurance costs.
Insurance companies also look at your car’s safety. Below are safety ratings of Toyota Camry SE from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

Methodology

The Insurance Research Team analyzes insurance products and services to drive insights and help consumers make informed purchase decisions.
Insurance research: We analyzed over 25 million car insurance quotes; conducted the largest insurance shopping survey (over 15,000 customers surveyed and 85 carriers reviewed in the past 18 months).
We surveyed insurance policyholders for their experience with their insurers in the following areas: (1) insurance cost (2) customer service (3) insurance buying experience (4) insurance renewal experience (5) claim experience. In addition, we asked people what they like about their insurers and what areas in which their insurers could improve. The driver characteristics used in calculating average rates for auto insurance include: single driver, single car, currently insured, clean driving record.
