.The fifth-generation SUV, with a base price of $38,325, includes two- and three-row models that seat up to seven people. It was recognized for its suite of available safety features, 4x4 capability, and new convenience and technological features like front and rear interactive displays.
A hybrid model, called the Grand Cherokee 4xe, is also available and starts at $58,095.

What is special about the Grand Cherokee L?
“This well-known, long-running nameplate is best for a family that likes to adventure,” said Rachel Rothman, chief technologist and executive technical director of the Good Housekeeping Institute.
“We found the vehicle comfy and spacious for the driver as well as the front and back-seat passengers. And while you'll likely spend more time driving on suburban roads than off-roading, it's nice to know it's an adept off-road vehicle,” she said.
The average family might not take the kids off-roading frequently, but the Grand Cherokee L is a solid choice if that happens to be your thing thanks to its excellent four-wheel drive, suspension, and traction management systems.
For those who need extra space, the three-row model, which debuted in 2021, is a great choice.
But unsurprisingly, an SUV of this size isn’t particularly fuel-efficient. While it gets around 19 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway, those numbers go down with the optional V8 engine.
