Skyline Drive-In Theater

Address: 182 SE Brewer Road, Shelton, WA 98584
Schedule: Gates open 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 5 p.m. Sunday, rain or shine. Open seasonally April-September/October. Closed for the season.
Ticket prices: $8 for 12 and older, $3 for kids 6-11, free for kids 5 and under

Skyline
began showing movies 7 days a week in 1964 and quickly became a community staple. 

Movies

When the Skyline Theater is open, you can catch a weekend showing of a new release or special events, like their Trunk-or-Treating and Halloween Costume Contest. 
Tickets are available for purchase online in advance or at the box office until sold out. You’ll need to make note of your vehicle’s height whether you are purchasing your ticket online or at the box office.
The Skyline has designated parking areas based on vehicle height to create the best possible viewing experience for patrons. 
  • Rows 1 and 2 are designated to cars less than 64 inches in height
  • Rows 3 through 6 are for mid-sized vehicles between 64 and 71 inches in height
  • Rows 7 through ten are intended for large vehicles 71 inches and over in height

How to hear the movie

Tune into 89.1 FM to broadcast the movie soundtrack. You can rent FM receivers from the snack bar if your vehicle doesn’t have one. 

Snacks

The Skyline snack bar menu boasts handmade pizzas to order, fresh-cut curly fries, deluxe burgers, and the movie theater snack stand classics. Outside food and drink are not permitted as most of their revenue comes from concessions.
Pro tip It gets cold once the sun goes down, even in the summer. Purchase a Skyline blanket from the snack bar to stay warm.

Rodeo Drive-In Theater

Address: 7369 State Highway 3, SW Bremerton, WA 98312
Schedule: Open Friday-Sunday seasonally beginning in March
Ticket prices: $10 for general admission, $7 for seniors 55 and up, $7 for kids 12 and under, free for kids 5 and under

Pet-friendly? Pets are allowed if they are secured on a leash or in your vehicle. They are not permitted in the snack bar, restrooms, or playground unless they are service animals.

Rodeo Drive-In
is the largest drive-in theater in the Pacific Northwest. There are three screens available to watch today’s best movies each weekend, beginning in March.

Movies

Rodeo Drive-In shows new releases in first-run double features on each of their screens. 
Movies begin at dusk, but those start times vary depending on the time of year. Early in the season movies can start as early as 6:30 p.m., but by July it can be as late as 10 p.m. Be sure to check the Rodeo Drive-In homepage for current start times.
The movie theater operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Arrive early to get the best parking spot and view of the movie.

How to hear the movie

Tune into the movie using your car’s FM radio. If your car doesn’t have one, there are portable FM radios available to rent at the snack bar, as long as supplies last. You can also download the ‘Nextradio’ app on your smartphone, but the sound and picture may not synchronize.

Snacks

The Rodeo Drive-In full-service Concession Central offers burgers and fries, chicken strip baskets, corn dogs, and 16-inch pizzas with a complete selection of toppings along with your usual movie theater fare. Don’t miss out on their famous Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich.
Pro-tip Take your kids to burn off excess energy on the new playgrounds in Field 1 and 2 before the movie begins or during intermission.

Blue Fox Drive-In Theater

Address: 1403 N Monroe Landing Road, Oak Harbor, WA 98277
Schedule: Open year-round, Friday-Sunday, rain or shine.
Ticket prices: If you are paying with cash tickets are $6.50 for general admission, $1 for kids ages 5-10, and free for kids 4 and under. There is a 50-cent transaction fee if you are paying with a card.

The
Blue Fox Drive-In
was opened by Woody Cecil and screened its first movie April Love in 1959. Darryll Bratt and his wife bought the theater in 1988 and have co-owned it since. 
Blue Fox is more than just a drive-in theater, it now features arcade games and go-karts. Arrive early and purchase a Fun Card at a kiosk at the arcade so you can enjoy games before the feature, during intermission, or after the movie.
Pro-tip: You can register and reload your existing Fun Card on the Blue Fox website to skip the lines at the kiosk. 

Movies

At the Blue Fox Drive-In, you can enjoy new releases every weekend year-round, rain or shine. 
Tickets are available for purchase when the box office opens at 4 p.m. unless otherwise posted.
Movies are on a first-come, first-served basis, and admission is per person. As the only year-round drive-in theater in the area, it’s recommended that you arrive early on Fridays and Saturdays. 
The lot allows one car per space, which is marked with a set of two poles to park between. If you have a truck or SUV, park in the back row where poles are left in their original spacing of tow cars. 

How to hear the movie

You can tune into radio station 88.7 FM to listen to the show. If your car doesn’t have an FM radio, they are available to rent for $3 and a photo ID. 

Snacks

The Snack Bar offers classic movie theater concession items, while the Blue Fox Kitchen menu boasts made-to-order pizza, Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches, burgers, fresh-cut fox fries which you can top with chili and cheese, and a gluten-free menu. You’ll receive a pager if you order food from the kitchen, so you can enjoy the movie while you wait. 
The BlackLot Tavern is the newest addition to Blue Fox. Their beer garden features 12 rotating taps, a variety of cans and bottled drinks, as well as exclusive appetizers to enjoy before you catch a show. Drinks must remain in the beer garden area, and you must be 21 years or older to enter.
