How do I get to Ebright Azimuth?

If you’re already visiting Delaware, you’ll probably check out the most populous city: Wilmington. Ebright Azimuth is a short 17-minute drive from downtown Wilmington, and is located on Ebright Road. Ebright Azimuth is in the middle of a residential community, so make sure you’re respectful of the locals and their private property.
 
If you’re heading north from Wilmington, this is how you find Ebright Azimuth:
 
  • Get onto I-95 North
  • Take Exit 8 onto Northbound Highway 202
  • Go 4.9 miles and turn right onto SR-92 East/Naamans Road
  • In 1.1 miles, turn right onto Ebright Road
  • After 0.6 miles, you’ll reach the intersection of Ebright Road and Ramblewood Drive
  • Find a legal place to park in the neighborhood and walk to the highpoint sign located on Ebright Road
 

Things to do around Ebright Azimuth

It’s easy to prove you’ve made it to the highest point in Delaware—just snap a picture with the marker sign and head back to the car! Since there’s no challenging hike to get to Ebright Azimuth, once you’ve gotten your photo you’re free to explore the town or head back to Wilmington for some sight-seeing.
If you’re in the mood for a hike or more of Delaware’s natural beauty, spend 12 minutes in the car to reach Brandywine Creek State Park. You’ll have to pay for admission and parking, but inside you’ll find excellent bird-watching, hiking trails, and tubing spots along the creek.
