Will my insurance carrier cancel my policy if I go over my annual mileage?

Will Allstate cancel my insurance policy if I go over my stated annual mileage? My annual mileage is usually around 5,000 per year. This year it was much higher since I had to take care of my parents and there was a lot of unexpected driving.

“As long as you are upfront with
Allstate
about your annual mileage, your policy will not be canceled.
If you are part of
Allstate’s Milewise
program, the milage will update with them automatically through your telematics device.
If you have a standard Allstate policy, Allstate will ask you to fill out an annual mileage form each year. Once your driving habits return to normal, you can submit an odometer reading and oil change records to decrease your annual mileage in the future.”
