Will my dash lights come on if the battery is dead?

My car won’t start and I think it is because my battery died. If my car battery is dead will my dash warning light still come on?

Your dash lights won’t come on if your car battery is dead. Your dashboard warning lights can only operate and indicate a problem if some power is left in the battery.
If your car battery is dead, you can jump-start it or you can check with your
car insurance
