Will my dash lights come on if the battery is dead?

I’m getting ready to go on a road trip in my new 2020 Honda CR-V LX. I want to use the navigation system to avoid getting lost or having to look at my phone. I’ve never owned a Honda before—how does the navigation system work?

How do I get the leaves out of my car's hood? I live in a forested area of Vermont, and there are always leaves around and under the hood in the fall.

Is it worth it to pay a small down payment? I've heard that you should always make some sort of down payment on a car loan. However, I only have about $500 or $1,000 to put toward the down payment.
