Will my boyfriend’s conflict with his insurer prevent him from getting coverage in the future?

"My boyfriend filed an insurance claim after a fire at his place. He and the insurer disagree about the amount that should be paid out, and now he's reporting them to the insurance board and making a big fuss. I'm wondering, will he have trouble getting coverage in the future based on how difficult he is to work with?

Jackie Whalen has been in the insurance industry for over 7 years, working in sales, service and claims. She has won numerous awards as a top salesperson and customer service agent. She currently lives in New York with her husband. Her 24 year old son recently moved out on his own which has given her more time to travel, write and train her dog Maisy not to chase her cat, Whiskey.
“Even though your boyfriend may seem like a tough person to work with under these conditions, he will not have a problem getting coverage in the future just based on his disagreement with the adjuster. Many customers dispute insurance findings or determinations quite frequently and this is a normal part of the process.
Typically, the people who have a hard time finding insurance are those who have frequent insurance lapses or those who file multiple claims. “
