Will I lose my pre-approved car loan if I lose my job before the loan is finalized?
I just got pre-approved for a loan, but I'm also hearing rumors at work that layoffs are being planned for my department. If I lose my job, will I also lose the loan?
Since being pre-approved is not the same thing as being approved for a car loan, it is likely that a major financial change such as losing your job will affect the terms of the auto loan. However, depending on the lender, this does not necessarily mean you will not be approved for an auto loan. It is best to determine if you can still afford the car and to have a discussion with your lender to see how you can move forward.

Will my mom and I face higher insurance rates if we file a claim after a hit-and-run?
"My mom's car got hit in a parking lot and we're looking at getting it repaired. We can afford to fix the damage ourselves, but we are wondering if we should just submit a claim through our insurance. Does insurance cover hit-and-runs? Would our rates increase after filing a claim?"

How will my car insurance be impacted if I move every six months?
I'm taking a new job that will require me to move to new states every six months for two years. My current insurance company only operates in Oklahoma, so I need to find a new carrier once I move. My agent told me it'll be expensive to do this with my car and I'm wondering if that's true.
