Will emergency roadside assistance help me jumpstart a Prius?
Do I need to request special equipment to jumpstart a Prius? Since it's a hybrid vehicle, I'm not sure if it will be the same process.

Sophie Newman is a writer from California. Her hobbies include brewing her own kombucha, riding horses, and taking long road trips.
“As a hybrid, a Prius will have two batteries, a 12-volt battery and a lithium-ion battery. The 12-volt battery is just like the battery in vehicles with conventional gas engines and can be used to jumpstart the car.
If you have Roadside Assistance coverage through AAA, you should be able to call and have your car serviced according to their policies.”

How much should I expect to pay to jump start a car?
Hypothetically, how much might it cost to jump start my car if I don't have roadside assistance? My car has charging system problems and I don't have roadside assistance with my insurance company.
