Will a cold air intake void my Ram warranty?

I want to install a cold air intake device in my car to make it more fuel efficient, but I’m afraid that messing with my engine could cost me my Ram warranty. Will my warranty still be effective if I install a cold air intake?

While a cold air intake won’t technically void your
Ram
warranty, it could cause some issues if you go to get your vehicle fixed in the future. In the United States, manufacturers aren’t allowed to refuse warranty service due to an aftermarket part.
With that being said, any problems caused by the cold air intake device won’t be covered since aftermarket parts and their effects aren’t covered on your warranty. If you have any problems with your Ram resulting from the cold air intake, you’ll be responsible for fixing them yourself.
