Will $100,000 of property damage liability cover me if I hit a Ferrari?
I was wondering how much property damage liability I should get. If I get $100,000 worth of coverage and I hit a Ferrari worth $150,000, do I have to pay the difference?

Liability CoverageCar Insurance
“Yes, you would be on the hook for the extra $50,000, and you would probably face a lawsuit unless you had that cash on hand.
If you live in a neighborhood with many luxury cars, you would be smart to go for $500,000 worth of property damage liability coverage.
It shouldn’t cost all that more per month, and you’ll be protecting yourself. It’s a no-brainer.”

Do I need to carry proof of insurance in each of my cars?
I have multiple cars insured on one policy. Am I required to carry a different insurance card in each vehicle? Or can I just keep a card on me showing that I have insurance, regardless of the vehicle listed? Could I get a ticket for doing this?

Can I negotiate a higher payout on my totaled car to cover my loan?
My car has been marked a total loss after a not-at-fault accident. I still owe $6,000 on my loan. I'm waiting for the assessed value of my vehicle, but I don't have gap insurance. Would I be able to negotiate with the other driver's insurance to pay out a higher amount to cover my gap?

Do insurance companies accept diminished value claims for uninsured drivers in Arizona?
I know that diminished value claims are allowed in Arizona. When I filed a claim with my insurance company for damage by an uninsured driver, I also let them know I planned to file a diminished value claim. The adjuster told me that I wouldn't be able to. Is this true?
