Start by turning the key in the ignition without turning the engine on and pop the hood. Find the fuse box and consult the cover for a diagram of the fuses inside—locate the fuse that controls your vehicle’s dash lights and use a test light to verify if the fuse is receiving power.
If the fuse only has power on one side, it has blown, in which case you’ll need to remove and replace it. If you test the fuse and find it is not the issue, test for power and ground at the instrument cluster. If the reading is bad it means the cluster is faulty and needs to be replaced.
