Why won’t my Hyundai Tucson start if there’s no clicking?

What could be causing my Hyundai Tucson not to start? My engine isn’t clicking, so I don’t think that the problem is the starter, but I’m not sure what else it would be.

The most common reason that a
Hyundai Tucson
won’t start but isn’t clicking is a dead or dying car battery. You’re right that a clicking noise typically indicates a problem with the starter, so if that doesn’t seem to be the issue at hand, you’re probably dealing with an electrical problem.
Other issues that may be plaguing your Hyundai include corroded battery terminals or frayed wires, or possibly even a faulty alternator that needs to be replaced. If you’re experiencing this kind of issue, you could try
jump-starting your car
, or you could simply call your mechanic to get a professional opinion.
