Why won’t my 2010 Toyota Corolla start without a clicking sound?

My Corolla has been working fine until today—it won’t start. I have no clue as to what the problem might be. What’s causing my 2010 Toyota Corolla to not start? It’s not even making a clicking noise.

Ugh, car trouble can be so frustrating! We feel your pain.
If your 2010 Toyota Corolla won’t start and isn’t making a clicking noise, the problem is most likely a totally dead battery or a broken starter.
If getting a jump start doesn’t do the trick (or if you know that your battery is fine), then the next likely culprit of a “no start no click” scenario is the starter. Unless you’re mechanically inclined, this will be something that you’ll need to see a mechanic to diagnose and fix. On the plus side, if it is the starter, new ones are usually only a few hundred dollars.
