Why isn't my cruise control working?
I was planning to use the cruise control function on my car last month when I took a road trip to visit my family. However, I couldn’t get my cruise control to activate when I was driving. How come my cruise control isn’t working?

I’m sorry to hear that your cruise control wasn’t working when you needed it to! There are three main reasons why this problem could be happening:
- A faulty or blown fuse can cause the entire electrical system to fail. Luckily, this can be easily fixed with a replacement fuse that corresponds with cruise control technology
- A defective brake pedal may also be the culprit. Your car’s cruise control is controlled by the brake pedal switch, which can cause the whole system to fail if it isn’t functioning properly
- A malfunctioning speed sensor, which may present itself as a check engine or warning light on the dashboard, can also impact the functionality of your cruise control system
