Why is my Jeep JK making a ticking noise?

My Jeep Wrangler is making a ticking noise and I’m not sure what’s causing it. What are some possible causes I can check out on my Jeep Wrangler JK?

It’s always a good idea to check out the cause if your car starts making weird sounds! Your Jeep JK may be making a ticking noise if it has a low oil level. Here are some other common causes of a ticking noise:
  • Exhaust leak
  • Ignition issue
  • Worn lifters
