Why is my Ford Bluetooth not working?

I’m having some issues with connecting my phone to the SYNC system on my Ford Edge. I’ve tried turning my phone off and on again, but so far, it’s no good. Why is my Ford Bluetooth not working?

It’s so frustrating to run into technology issues in your car, but there might be an easy fix to this!
For instance, your Ford Bluetooth may not be working because your phone requires the latest software update or you might not have Bluetooth activated. Let’s look at a few solutions that may get you connected to Bluetooth once and for all!
First, go to your phone settings and check for available software updates. If there is a new update available, start the software update process and try reconnecting to the Ford SYNC system. If that still doesn’t work, make sure your phone’s Bluetooth is turned on and that it’s ready to pair and detect other Bluetooth devices.
You may need to reset the Bluetooth on your phone by turning it off and back on again. If you’re still not connected, then refer to your
Ford Edge
owner’s manual to delete your phone from the Ford SYNC system. Then, connect again just like you did the first time you set up your phone connection on your Ford.
Finally, if you’re still having issues, Ford has a set of
instructions to reverse pair
your phone. Hopefully, one of these methods will get your phone back in sync with your Ford.
Good luck!
