Sorry to hear that! If your BMW 1 Series speaker is not working, you’ll need to check a few things to pinpoint the actual problem.
The first thing you should do is check the left-right speaker balance, which you can do by pressing the music note button on your dashboard—it may be that the balance was shifted, causing the left speaker to stop working.
If that doesn’t fix the issue, you’re probably looking at a problem with either the head unit, the speaker itself, or the wiring between them. If you’ve had any recent work done to the passenger side door, make sure that the speaker connector was reattached.
If you don’t have any experience working with electrical systems, we suggest having a professional diagnose the problem for you.
