Why is another carrier offering a lower rate than my current insurance carrier?

My wife and I are currently insured with Allstate. AAA is offering us a significantly lower rate. The coverages are the same and I don't understand why their rate is less expensive. I'm worried that if we switch, the rate will increase to more than what we are paying now.

“Every insurance company is different. While carriers often look at the same factors when rating a policy, how those factors impact your price can vary.
If you’re concerned that a rate may be too good to be true, shop around. If you are seeing similar rates from other carriers, it may be time to switch!
You can reach out to larger carriers as well as smaller regional car insurance providers. By shopping around, you can be sure you are receiving the most affordable rate for the coverage you need.
