Why is another carrier offering a lower rate than my current insurance carrier?

My wife and I are currently insured with Allstate. AAA is offering us a significantly lower rate. The coverages are the same and I don't understand why their rate is less expensive. I'm worried that if we switch, the rate will increase to more than what we are paying now.
