Why does my car slow down then speed back up?

I’ve driven the same car for years but recently noticed that it has been driving differently. It will slightly slow down for a while before speeding back up again without me even touching the brake or gas. Why is my car randomly slowing down then speeding up again?

Sorry to hear that’s been happening!
There are two possible culprits behind your car’s problem—low transmission fluid or a faulty transmission control module (TCM) might be why you’re facing this issue.
Both of the causes are tough to diagnose at home. So, the best way to get to the root of the problem is to visit an auto mechanic. They will be able to properly diagnose the issue and have your car back to its prior condition in no time!
In the meantime, it’s a good idea to check over your insurance coverage. If you’re not sure whether your plan is the best for your needs, try
