Why are my car insurance quotes so expensive for a Nissan 370Z?

I'm 22, I want to get a Nissan 370Z, and I live in New Jersey. I'm looking for my first auto policy. I've taken a driver training course and all the online quotes I've gotten have been super expensive. I don't understand why I'm being quoted $300 a month.

“Insurance companies look at many things when deciding on a rate for an insured. Your age, driving history, location, type of vehicle, and prior insurance can all impact your rates.
Since you are under 25 and previously uninsured, your rates will be significantly higher than an older driver who’s been continuously insured. You will be considered high-risk until you can prove to a company that you are a responsible driver.
Once you have been insured for at least six months without any accidents or violations, your rate should start to fall.
If you’ve only looked into larger carriers, another option would be to request quotes from smaller regional carriers. They may be able to provide a rate that is more competitive and affordable.
