Who pays for rental car insurance after an accident?

Will my insurance pay for a rental car for me to get to work? My car is in the shop due to an accident. I have GEICO insurance.

Car insurance companies, including GEICO, may help cover the cost of a rental car after an accident.
If the other driver is at fault, their insurance typically will pay for a rental car while your vehicle is being repaired.
If you’re at fault, you’ll need to use your own rental reimbursement coverage to cover the costs. If you don’t have it on your policy, you’ll be required to pay for your rental car out of pocket.”
