Who makes Toyota hybrid batteries?

I’m big into the stock market and I’m trying to diversify my portfolio. Rather than invest in car companies, I want to buy stocks in the companies that supply parts for cars. I know that Toyota sells the most hybrids, but who supplies its batteries?

Diversifying your portfolio is always a great way to build wealth. In regard to your question, Panasonic and Toyota have a joint subsidiary called Primearth EV Energy that makes Toyota hybrid batteries.
Before its joint venture with Panasonic, Toyota produced its batteries in-house. Due to rising demand, the Japanese automaker developed Primearth. They currently own an 80.5% stake in the subsidiary.
The batteries are currently manufactured at plants in China, but Toyota and Panasonic plan to open facilities in **western Japan and Greensboro,
North Carolina
, in 2022 and 2023 to meet rising demand.
Toyota batteries are high quality and carry a 10-year, 150,000-mile warranty. So if you’re looking to get a Toyota hybrid, this should put your mind at ease.
