Which is the better hybrid, the Ford Escape SE or the Titanium?
My spouse and I both agree we want a new Ford Escape Titanium. But she wants the Titanium, and I think we should go with the SE. Which is better—the Ford Escape SE Hybrid or the Titanium Hybrid?

The answer to this really depends on what your definition of “better” is, but we can help by outlining some of the major differences between these trim levels. You have probably already noticed the main difference between them. The
Ford Escape Hybrid
SE is nearly $5,000 less than the Titanium trim level.The Escape hybrid comes standard with its Co-Pilot360 driver-assistance suite, an 8-inch touchscreen display, and remote start. However, there’s a lot that the Titanium trim offers that you can’t find in the SE, including:
- Leather seats
- 10-speaker B&O Play sound system
- In-dash navigation
- 12.3-inch digital gauge display
- Available heads-up display
- 19-inch wheels (compared to the standard 17-inch wheels on the SE)
- Heated front seats
- Rain-sensing windshield wipers
If those features appeal to you, you might take a second look at the Titanium. Or, you and your spouse may want to meet in the middle by looking at the Escape SEL hybrid.
Whatever trim you end up getting, it won’t be nearly as hard to decide on the right
