Ferrari vehicles were first invented in Maranello, Italy in the province of Modena. The company was originally started in 1939 by Enzo Ferrari, when he started a racing division for Alfa Romeo. However, Ferrari was officially founded in 1947.
In 1947, the Ferrari 125 S rolled off the assembly line, featuring a slick race car design, as well as a 118-horsepower, 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine. This vehicle has since become a collector’s car, and while it’s unlikely that one would ever come to market, the valuation is in the $5 million price range.
