Where to stay when driving to New York City?
I’m driving up to New York City over the weekend, and I wanted to make a road trip out of it. Can you recommend some places to stay on my way?

. Here are some suggestions for where to stay when driving to New York City from any of those four states:
- The Inn at Herrington Harbor (North Beach, Maryland)—marinas, kayak rentals, and a one-mile nature trail offer plenty of relaxation after a long day of driving.
- Boardwalk Plaza Hotel, Rehoboth Beach (Rehoboth Beach, Delaware)—low-priced luxury right on the beach. Try to make it for $3 mimosas with Sunday brunch!
- The Inn at Birch Wilds (Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania)—it may be haunted, but comfy rooms, sweeping vistas, and mouthwatering food make the wailing worth it!
