We have some good news for you! The Subaru Crosstrek is made in Japan, specifically at the Yajima manufacturing plant in Ota, Gunma.
When looking at used cars, you can also confirm where it is made by looking at the first few characters of the vehicle identification number (VIN). A code will tell you the vehicle’s manufacturer.
The characters JF1 represent cars manufactured in Japan, and 4S3 represent Subarus manufactured in the U.S.
