The Porsche Macan is made in Leipzig, Germany.
While the Porsche Leipzig Factory has been around since 2000, the first Macans didn’t roll off the assembly lines until the 2019 model year. Get this: 600 million euros were invested to develop the factory and set up production for the Macan.
Luckily, it all paid off. The facility could not be a better match for the green high-performance luxury crossover—in 2019, it received the highest award given out by the German Sustainable Building Council.
