Where is the Porsche factory?

I know Porsche is a German automaker, but I don’t know exactly where the vehicles are made. Where is the Porsche factory?

There are two main Porsche factories in Germany: In the Zuffenhausen district in Stuttgart, and In the city of Leipzig.
There are also factories in Slovakia.
If you have a favorite Porsche you’re particularly curious about, check out which factory produces which cars:
  • Leipzig, Germany: Panamera, Macan
  • Zuffenhausen, Germany: 911, 718 Cayman, 718 Boxster, Taycan, and engine plant
  • Bratislava, Slovakia: Cayenne
Porsche’s Research and Development Centre is also located in Germany in Stuttgart, Weissach. Here, many prototypes undergo thousands of hours of testing before they make it to assembly for the consumer market.
