I’m a Georgia native and have been hearing a lot of buzz about a new Hyundai plant coming to our state, but I have no idea where it’ll be located. That’s why my question is: where’s the new Hyundai plant going to be built in Georgia?

Hyundai has some exciting new US plans! The new Hyundai plant in
Georgia
will be located in Bryan County, which is located in northern Georgia near the city of Savannah
. The plant is set to open in 2025 and will be the first-ever US automotive plant solely dedicated to producing electric vehicles. Construction begins in early 2023.The plant anticipates producing upwards of 300,000 vehicles, which has the potential to create as many as 8,100 jobs. In total, Georgia’s Hyundai electric car plant will cost $5.5 billion to build.
