Where is the Mercedes Metris made?

I run a small transportation company and am thinking of getting a couple of Mercedes Metris vans for my fleet. But, before I pull the trigger on this purchase I’m curious to know, where’s the Mercedes-Benz Metris made?

This is definitely a solid choice for a work van! The Mercedes Metris is made in a Mercedes-Benz plant located in South Carolina that specializes in producing fleet vans for the U.S. and Canadian markets.
Since the plant opened in 2018, production of the Mercedes Metris moved from its native Germany to the all-new, state-of-the-art facility in South Carolina. Commercial vans are the only vehicles produced at this plant.
Mercedes-Benz has announced plans to discontinue the Metris after the 2023 model year, but there should still be plenty of work to do in the South Carolina plant—the Mercedes Sprinter van model is one of the top-selling commercial vans in the U.S.
