Where is the Mercedes GLS made?
I am interested in purchasing a used Mercedes GLS. I’ve been doing some research on its features but I don’t know a lot about its origins. My question is: where does Mercedes build the GLS?

The Mercedes GLS is made at Mercedes-Benz’s plant located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. All GLS SUVs are produced here.
The Alabama plant was established in 1995 and was the first Mercedes-Benz production facility built outside of Germany.
The Mercedes-Benz GLS is a luxurious three-row SUV that seats seven. The GLS-Class had its official outing for the 2017 model year, taking over for the GL-Class, which petered out its last full-sized SUVs in 2019.
