Where is the gas cap release on a Chevy Cruze?

I just got a 2019 Chevy Cruze, and the tank is almost empty, but I can’t find the gas cap release! Help! Where is it?

The gas cap release on the Chevy Cruze is right on the fuel door. Push firmly on the left side of the door, and it will pop open to reveal the fuel cap. Unscrew the gap and fill your Cruze up!
Unlike other vehicles, there is no latch or button inside the vehicle to open the Cruze’s gas tank door.
