Where is the fuel pump relay located on a 2006 Saab 9-3?

I’m having a bunch of trouble with the engine on my 2006 Saab 9-3. A buddy of mine claimed it could be the fuel pump relay but I haven't been able to find it. Where is it located?

Since the fuel pump relay ensures the fuel pump is sufficiently powered, it’s a crucial part of your car. The problem is, finding the fuel pump relay on a 2006
Saab 9-3
isn’t all that easy.
To locate the fuel pump relay you’re going to need a screwdriver. The fuel pump relay is next to several other electrical relays on a block that’s located underneath the instrument panel.
Once you have your hands on the block you’ll need to consult your owner’s manual to check which of the labeled relays is the fuel pump itself. If you’re a novice at working on cars you may want to consider
taking your vehicle to a repair shop or mechanic
to find the relay and diagnose your problem.
Some symptoms of a faulty fuel pump relay include:
  • Stalling engine
  • An engine that won’t start
  • Rough acceleration
Of course, all of these are also symptoms of other engine issues, so experiencing them doesn’t guarantee that the engine pump relay is the problem.
