Where is the 2021 Ford Transit’s OBD port location?

I’ve been living the #vanlife for a while now in my 2021 Ford Transit. Unfortunately, I just noticed the Check Engine Light come on the other day. I have an OBD reader, but I don’t know where to plug it in to find out the problem. Can you help me?

Of course! The onboard diagnostics (OBD) port on the 2021
Ford Transit
is located at the bottom of the dashboard to the left of the steering wheel. It’s really easy to get to, as it’s not actually under the dash, but it’s kind of camouflaged in the same color as everything around it, so it makes sense that you’d miss it.
Hopefully you haven’t put so many miles on your Transit that it’s out of warranty, but even if you have, you may not need to panic. There are lots of reasons the
Check Engine Warning Light
can come on in a vehicle and not all of them signal the need for expensive
car repairs
. We’ll keep our fingers crossed for you that yours is a simple problem that can be fixed on the cheap.
