Where is the 2018 Hyundai Elantra’s OBD port location?

The check engine light in my 2018 Hyundai Elantra just came on. I’ve got my own OBD scanner, but I’m having trouble finding where to plug it in. Can you help?

Of course! The onboard diagnostics (OBD) port in the 2018
Hyundai Elantra
is located in the passenger compartment fuse box.
If you’re sitting in the driver’s seat, just look at the dash in front of your left knee, and you’ll see the fuse box cover. Pop it off, and you’ll find the plug located at the bottom of the fuse panel.
We’re sure you were probably a little unnerved to see your car’s
check engine warning light
come on. Don’t get too worried, yet, though—it may not be anything serious. In fact, it may be something as minor as a loose gas cap.
On the other hand, it could be a signal that you need to
take your car to a mechanic
. This may be the best option for your
car repair
—especially if you’re having any trouble interpreting the diagnostic codes on your own.
