Where is the 2016 Nissan Sentra OBD port location?

I’m considering getting an OBD scanner for my car, but it seems pointless to do that unless I can figure out how it connects to it. Where is the 2016 Nissan Sentra OBD port location?

OBD scanners are useful, but only if you know where it plugs into your vehicle! You should be able to find the 2016 Nissan Sentra’s OBD port location in the driver’s area of the cabin.
The most common place to find an OBD port is on the lower portion of the vehicle’s dashboard, to the left or right of the steering wheel. In some vehicles, they can be found on the center console.
An on-board diagnostic (OBD-II) scanner can potentially help you save on routine maintenance and car repairs. By plugging your OBD-II scanner into the port, you can note the error codes it detects and trace them back to the issues your Sentra may have.
If the problem is an easy fix you can take care of yourself, you just spared yourself from an auto repair bill. And if the problem is more serious, you have additional confirmation that it’s time to take your vehicle to a mechanic.
If you’re having trouble finding your 2016 Nissan Sentra’s OBD port location, you can always ask your mechanic to point it out to you the next time you take it in for service.
Just an FYI: there’s no OBD error code for car insurance coverage gaps so it’s wise to occasionally review your policy to ensure your 2016 Nissan Sentra has the protection it needs.
