Where is the 2015 Chevy Traverse battery located?
I’m in a tight spot with money and want to save where I can by doing basic car maintenance things at home. Currently, I’m trying to DIY a battery refill in my 2016 Chevy Traverse. Where can I find the battery?

To get to it, you’ll need to approach from the second row of seats—but luckily, it’s not a tricky task to accomplish! All you need to do is grab a 15mm Torx screwdriver and follow these easy steps:
- Slide your passenger’s seat all the way forward
- Remove any floor mats from the back row
- Remove the protective access panel on the floor beneath the passenger’s seat (using your screwdriver)
From there, simply pop off the plastic cover in front and lift up the protective access panel to reveal your battery!
